Guardian Angel watches o’er your sleep . . .

Stepping Stone Heritage Farm is watched over  by an angel!  But, our Angel is a donkey!   Angel is not an ordinary donkey.  She is a ‘guardian donkey’.  Angel takes her job on the farm very seriously.  She protects all from spirits of ill will.  In particular, she lives in the pasture with the sheep, and watches o’er them while they sleep . . . or not.

Once you enter the driveway at Stepping Stone Heritage Farm you come under the protection of Angel.  She delights in ‘visitors’ and is pretty sure everyone comes to the farm to visit her. 

Stepping Stone Heritage Farm is a certified organic farm dedicated to the raising of heritage and rare breed livestock.  We choose to do so in a slow and gentle fashion taking time to smell the roses.

Guests can enjoy walks in the pastures or woods, or simply relax in the butterfly garden.  The rocking chairs wait for you after dinner on the verandah.  Winter offers cross country skiing and cozy evenings snuggled up with a mug of hot chocolate and a rousing game of ...

The Cottage
Efficiency two-bedroom cottage fully furnished and appointed, with housekeeping.
